Happy Birthday Queen

What better way to celebrate Her Majesty’s Birthday than with a royal ceremony? Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, fell ponies and Gun salutes all play a part. But which one is the best? We’ve got some ideas. Here are a few. Enjoy! And, don’t forget to celebrate the Queen of England with some of her favorite things.
Prince Charles

The British royal family will celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th birthday on June 14. Her royal birthday celebration will take place on her beloved Sandringham estate in Norfolk. This estate is very dear to the queen as it was where her father lived and died in 1952. The estate was also the royal home of Prince Philip during his retirement years.

On his birthday, the Queen will celebrate with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. They all shared a birthday message on their social media pages. Also on the day, the Clarence House shared a new portrait of her husband, in which the royal couple are pictured together in their highland home, Highgrove.
Duchess Camilla

Today, we wish the Duchess of Cornwall a happy birthday! On June 15, Camilla celebrated her 70th birthday in a special way, with a sea bass lunch and champagne reception. She also made an appearance on a special edition of The Oldie magazine, where she was honored for being born the same year as Queen Elizabeth II. During the interview, Camilla reflected on the importance of her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, and pledged to live up to his example.

She shared a photo on Twitter of her new garden with her beloved dog, and it made royal fans rejoice! Several years ago, Camilla guest-edited the magazine Country Life, which features the views of the Royal Family. In the July 2013 issue, Camilla sat on a wooden bench in her garden, holding a trug of pelargoniums.
Her Majesty’s fell ponies

The Fell Pony Society, based in Appleby, is celebrating its centenary this year and the Queen is patron of the society. She is an ambassador for the breed and has done much to increase the public’s awareness of the breed. The society is hoping that the Queen’s involvement will inspire people to get involved with the breed. The society has a variety of events planned for the centenary year of the breed.

The Queen was pictured holding the reins of two Fell ponies during her visit to Windsor Castle earlier this month. She was joined by two of her own home-bred ponies, Bybeck Nightingale and Bybeck Katie, as well as a specially commissioned horse named Henry Dallal. Both of these ponies will be featured at the Royal Windsor Horse Show during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Gun salutes

The Queen will be celebrating her 96th birthday this weekend with gun salutes at the Tower of London, Hyde Park, and Windsor Great Park. The 41-gun salute will be fired in Hyde Park, followed by a 21-gun salute in Windsor, and a 62-gun salute in the Tower of London. Although there have been restrictions on gun salutes for the last two years, the tradition of firing gun salutes to the Queen on her birthday dates back to King George II in 1748.

The royal salutes are fired four times a year: on Accession Day on February 6; on the Queen’s birthday on April 21; and on the Queen’s Coronation Day on June 26. The gun salutes are fired at midday on each of these days.
Sandringham estate

Happy birthday queen at Sandringham estate! The 96-year-old queen was spotted posing with two of her own fell ponies during her birthday celebration at the Sandringham estate. The Queen, who wore a headscarf and sunglasses, was escorted by her chauffeur. She also made a visit to Wood Farm, where her late husband Prince Philip used to live before he retired. The Queen’s birthday falls on June 2nd, and her Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated from June 2nd to 5th.

The Queen’s 96th birthday celebrations have shifted to a more intimate location than the palace, which was originally designed for the future queen. The Queen’s private retreat, Wood Farm, is a former farmhouse built around the same time as the main Sandringham House. Later, the future King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra inherited the estate, and Prince Philip stayed at the home for most of his retirement years.
Her Majesty’s 96th birthday

The Queen is celebrating her 96th birthday today, and the entire royal family is celebrating her birthday by sending her a heartfelt message on Twitter. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge called the monarch “an inspiration” and shared a picture of the Queen and Prince Philip holding their seven great-grandchildren. Buckingham Palace also shared a photo of the Queen as a young girl, when she was two years old.

The Queen’s 96th birthday is a day to celebrate her long and distinguished life. The 96-year-old is the longest-serving monarch in British history, having reigned for 65 years and four months. She’s also the first monarch to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
